I’ve come to learn that there is a difference between helping and supporting. Supporting is “holding your hand through this” while helping is “saving the day”. We often rush to save those that we love even when we don’t have the mental capacity to do so despite whether we were asked for help or not. To the surprise of many, there is another option.
